Summerland Mayor Doug Holmes is seeking a second term as mayor to lead Summerland’s recovery from the Bald Range wildfire. The mayor will need to oversee a recovery plan for impacted residents, farmers, businesses and public infrastructure, including the community’s drinking water source that has been affected by the fire.
During the evacuation, Summerland pulled together as a community and we helped each other get through it. We’ll need to continue working together to recover, and the mayor will have a key role in ensuring we remain united.
